MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — There’s a new fast-food location in South Florida and if you head inside, you may run into a Grammy award winner!
Megan Thee Stallion opened her first ever Popeyes location this week in Miami Beach on Washington Avenue.
Local 10 was there for the ribbon cutting ceremony where we got to try the rapper’s exclusive combo meal delivered by the “hot girl” herself.
The Grammy award winner is now officially a franchise owner.
“Oh baby, you know I live in Miami, I love it here, ” Megan said. “This my new hood!”
And inside, it’s not like your typical Popeyes. The interior is very Megan meets Miami with the rapper’s name in bright lights right next to the brand’s name.
Even the employees are decked out in hottie-certified uniforms.
And the building’s interior isn’t the only thing Megan is bringing to the table.
The rapper also unveiled “Thee Megan Meal” — a new and exclusive combo meal.
“It’s always important to invest in yourself, be true to yourself and only do endeavors that feel real to you, so you can really like be invested more than money-wise,” Megan said. “Like invested in your heart.”
