FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A new wine bar is bringing red, white and rosé to the heart of Flagler Village.
Through the Vine, which recently celebrated its grand opening, offers a 2,100-square-foot space featuring a sweeping wine list, bistro-style eats, and a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
Co-owner Jason Javens said the concept grew out of a decades-long passion for wine and a desire to create a fun, relaxed space.
“We really saw this need of having something like this, having something welcoming, something fun, where people can just come into the bar with your bunny slippers,” Javens said.
The bar hosts live DJs on Friday and Saturday nights, brunch on Sundays, and trivia nights on Wednesdays.
Javens said Through the Vine also plans to hold a series of wine-tasting events in the coming months.
Visitors can enjoy charcuterie boards, Italian sausage flatbreads and other small bites carefully paired with the wine selection.
“All of us are passionate about food, we’re passionate about a good time, passionate about wine, and we want to share that with the neighborhood,” Javens said.
Through the Vine says the goal is to combine great food, drinks and community.
“When you pair the correct way, you’re in a nice environment. It makes for a fun time,” Javens added. “That’s what we’re all about, and what keeps bringing people back.”
