POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — One South Florida talent travels all around the world for both professional wrestling and acting.

Vinny Pacifico started his career more than a decade ago, and he’s only getting better.

The professional wrestler turned actor has been full of energy since he started his wrestling career in 2014.

“I was a fan growing up for so many years, and at some point, I’ll go with my dad, I’m like, ‘Dad, I wanna be a wrestler,’’ Pacifico said. “I started at 14 and ever since then, I never looked back.”

Pacifico has traveled to more than 15 different countries, working for big name wrestling companies like WWE, AEW, ROH and more.

“It’s been such a dream come true and being able to do what I love so much and being able to do it while traveling to Japan, Germany, Romania, Hungary -- it’s been such an amazing experience, seriously, and I’m so grateful for it,” he said.

Pacifico has always been an athlete, playing football when he was younger, but professional wrestling is hard work.

“In the ring or in the gym, it’s a lot of stretching. I had injuries years ago as I was growing up and a lot of them stem from not stretching, from not taking care of your body,” he said. “Hitting the ropes, cardio, wrestling matches, always rolling, bumping, all that stuff really is important to do when you’re training in the ring -- and promo class, acting class -- that all helps wrestling.”

Pacifico has got an awesome move-set, from superkicks, to DDTs and hurricanranas, he can do it all.

But his finisher is what sets him apart.

“My finishing move is called the power punch,” he said. “I have like a belt of drinks, energy drinks in the corner, and I will have the match, get the drink, crack it open, drink the drink and then throw a punch, and then that’s how the match really ends.”

Pacifico has also worked in movies, like “Mr. Reset and the Society of Turnbuckle & Bone,” where wrestling meets horror.

“After filming ‘Mr. Reset,’ I absolutely fell in love with the acting side of things,” Pacifico said. “I got to play my wrestling character, myself, and wrestle matches and do wrestling stuff and also act, and then I have a movie coming up in July, and they want me to have like a full-fledged bar fight, but I’m gonna be utilizing my wrestling ability to do that.”

Pacifico had some advice for anyone looking to get into professional wrestling.

“You know, if you have a dream and something burns inside of you and you want to do it, go do it, and don’t let any negative words affect you,” he said.

Pacifico will soon be traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast as he just landed a new lead role.
