MIAMI SPRINGS, Fla. — Police officers rescued a 2-year-old girl and her mother in Miami Springs after human traffickers took them through a nightmare from Texas to Tennessee, Louisiana, New York, and Florida, according to police.
Police officers found the victim crying and scared on Nov. 22 at the Parkway Inn Airport Motel, at 777 Curtiss Parkway, in a room that was registered under Eushuun “Nu Nu” Thomas, according to police.
“Oh my God! She is going to beat my ass,” the human trafficking victim said when Thomas, 22, arrived at the motel during the police investigation, according to the police arrest report.
The victim said Thomas worked for Darrell “Heffe” Robertson, who would also beat her up when she refused to engage in prostitution, according to the police arrest report.
The phonetics of “Heffe” are the same as “Jefe,” which is Spanish for “Boss.”
A police officer noticed that the human trafficking victim was “clutching” an infected tattoo that was on her thigh, according to the police arrest report.
Both the victim and Thomas had matching tattoos of a red stiletto, but the victim had a “Heffee” tattoo in cursive next to it, and Thomas had the letter “H” next to it, according to a police report.
The victim said Thomas and Robertson forced her to leave her daughter in daycare, used online advertisements, gave her condoms, and a $1,000 daily quota for prostitution, according to an arrest report.
Police officers arrested Thomas and Robertson, and correctional deputies booked them on Nov. 22 at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where they remained on Monday afternoon.
Thomas faced charges of human trafficking and renting a space for prostitution. A judge denied her bond for human trafficking and set her bond for the second count at $1,000.
Robertson faced three counts of human trafficking, deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, battery, and child abuse with no great bodily harm. A judge denied him bond.
