PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio stood near President Donald Trump on Saturday in Palm Beach County and sent a message to leaders in Cuba.
Rubio participated in a news conference in Mar-a-Lago after the U.S. military captured Nicolas Maduro and Cilia Flores in Caracas.
“One of the biggest problems Venezuelans have is they have to declare independence from Cuba,” Rubio said.
Rubio also described the Cuban Communist leaders as incompetent and senile.
“If I lived in Havana, and I was in the government, I would be concerned,” Rubio said.
