Caught on Camera: Police arrest brothers doing donuts in a Florida intersection

TAMPA, Fla. – Two brothers are behind bars after Florida police said they were caught doing donuts in a Tampa intersection around a fire and it was all caught on camera.

Tampa police said a crowd started a fire on Saturday in the middle of an intersection. The flames could be seen from a Tampa police helicopter overhead as well as a lime green convertible Mustang doing donuts in the intersection of W. Kennedy Blvd. and N. MacDill Ave.

Brothers Anwar Yasser Awdi, 24, who police said was driving the Mustang and Jawad Yasser Awdi, 19, his passenger, sped away from the scene.

Officers caught up to them at a nearby gas station where they were arrested.

The Mustang was impounded.

The brothers face charges for unlawful racing on a highway.

Anwar Yasser Awdi also faces charges for fleeing to elude a police officer.
