Parapar, 23, a former middle linebacker and wide receiver for Westland Hialeah High School’s football team, was at the Santa Rosa County Jail on Wednesday.

A deputy noticed his erratic driving and ordered Parapar to stop. He stopped, lied to the deputy about his name, and tried to run away. Police dogs were involved in the search.

Santa Rosa County deputies found and arrested Parapar and later identified him as the Hialeah fugitive who officers had warned was an “armed and dangerous" burglary suspect.

In Santa Rosa, Parapar faced five charges: Two counts of possession of a controlled substance over marijuana and drugs without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest without violence, and providing a false name to law enforcement. His bond was $7,000. He had a hold for the arrest warrant in Miami-Dade County
