Gov. Ron DeSantis stopped at the Bay of Pigs Museum & Library on Friday in Miami’s Little Havana.

During his speech, DeSantis said Brigade 2506 fighters were on the right side of history.

“If Cuba was free, it would be an amazingly successful country,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis was there to sign the Foreign Interference Restriction and Enforcement bill into law, aiming to restrict influence from “foreign countries of concern.”

The law’s key provisions include bans on surrogacy or adoption contracts, penalties for officials accepting foreign benefits, and restrictions on lobbying and government contracting.

DeSantis said Cuba needs regime change.

“You can’t do business with criminals,” DeSantis said.

The law also applies to China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and Syria.
