Judge closes 2 cases after prosecutors drop charges after Miami Beach arrests

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Miami-Dade County prosecutors recently dropped the charges against a 21-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man after Miami Beach police officers arrested them on Feb. 3 in South Beach, records show.

Miami-Dade prosecutors filed separate felony cases against Gracie David and Dayleon Murray on Feb. 4. They were both released on bond, and both pleaded not guilty, according to court records.

After prosecutors decided to drop the strong-armed robbery charge against David and the strong-armed robbery and battery charges against Murray, Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Andrea Wolfson closed both cases on May 20, according to court records.
