Motorcyclist dies on Interstate 95 multi-vehicle crash on northbound Express lanes

MIAMI – Drivers are experiencing delays Thursday on Interstate 95 in both directions in Miami-Dade County. A section of I-95 northbound was closed.

A motorcyclist on a Yamaha died after a crash on the I-95 Express North lanes. The crash involved three cars between Northwest 103rd and 119th streets, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A pick-up truck caught on fire. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded. Luca Wiggs shared a video of the dark smoke behind the scene of another crash in the same area.

“When fire and EMS came, there was another accident that happened about 1/4 mile behind us,” Wiggs wrote on Facebook. “Then we saw this huge plume of smoke.”

The entry ramp to I-95 Express NB from State Road 112 was blocked.

The entry ramp to I-95 NB from 62nd Street was also blocked.
