Early morning shooting in West Park injures 3, according to BSO

WEST PARK, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting after 3 people were found shot early Saturday morning.

According to BSO, they received a call at 2:45 a.m. about a shooting at the intersection of Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Southwest 56th Avenue.

When they arrived, deputies found 3 men suffering from gunshot wounds, along with two crashed cars.

All 3 were transported to local hospitals and are expected to be OK, according to BSO.

The shooting also indirectly affected a nearby corner store. When an employee went to open the store for business, which was across the street from the shooting scene, they found the front doors completely shattered.

The owner of the business arrived to find a bullet hole also in the store’s shutters.

He believes it was caused by a stray bullet from the shooting scene that traveled across the street and into the store.

BSO says the shooting is under investigation and, at this time, the motive is unknown.
