Police: Shopping plaza shootout injures 3

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Business owners were seen boarding up their stores after bullets shattered windows during an early morning shootout Saturday.

According to Miramar police, the shooting started at a shopping plaza on Miramar Parkway near Southwest 64th Street early Saturday morning after an argument broke out. Police said the people involved in the gunfire were linked to multiple parties in the area.

3 people were injured in the shootout — their conditions were not released.

In addition to the damaged store windows, Local 10 at the scene also captured video of a vehicle with its back window completely shattered.

Police said they are continuing their investigation.
