Woman shot, left for dead at Dania Beach apartment complex identified

DANIA BEACH, Fla. — A white sedan and the picture of a woman shot and left for dead at an apartment complex the day after Christmas were released Thursday by Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Homicide detectives said that just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, deputies responded to an apartment complex at 321 E. Sheridan St., after reports of gunshots.

When they arrived, they found a woman on the ground at the complex with a gunshot wound. The woman has been identified as 47-year-old Aranee Mulakhut. Mulakhut reportedly lived at the complex.

She was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital where she died.

Surveillance video captured a white, four-door sedan that detectives believe was involved in the shooting.
