As a precaution, bomb squad technicians checked the manā€™s carry-on bag, but it was found to be safe.

The plane that the man was to have boarded was taken to a reserve area, deplaned and swept to make sure the personā€™s baggage was not onboard. The plane was determined to be safe, according to officials.

The departures area was shut down for about an hour and reopened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
