MIRAMAR, Fla. — An officer’s vehicle and a civilian SUV collided Wednesday morning at an intersection in Miramar.
Sky 10 was above the area of Flamingo Road and Pembroke Road just before 6:45 a.m. as both vehicles remained at the scene, along with several other police vehicles.
The civilian SUV had front-end damage, but it’s unclear which driver was at fault.
Police confirmed that the officer was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. They said westbound traffic is currently shut down on Pembroke Road.
No other details were immediately released.
