MIAMI — Officers in Hialeah are investigating an armed carjacking.

It happened Wednesday night in the area of East 10th Avenue and 15th Street.

According to Hialeah police, the suspects pistol whipped the victim before taking off in his vehicle.

Shortly after, police said the suspects crashed the victim’s car near East 10th Avenue and 12th Street.

They ditched the car and fled in what officers described only as a getaway vehicle.
