Man dead, 2 hospitalized after shooting in Homestead

$5,000 reward offered for information that leads to arrest

A man is dead and two others were hospitalized following a shooting in Homestead on Sunday, according to the Homestead Police Department.

The deceased person was found dead at the scene in the middle of a street, police said.

He was identified Monday as 29-year-old Samuel Pacheco Jr.

There’s no immediate word on the condition of the two victims who were hospitalized.

The investigation is ongoing, and a motive remains unclear.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
