NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Residents of a Miami-Dade County city hit the polls on Tuesday and selected a new mayor.
North Miami Beach voters were choosing between mayoral candidates Evan Piper and Paule Villard.
Piper ended up cruising to victory, carrying 57% of the vote.
Both of the candidates were former city commissioners.
