Driver injured during shooting, crash in Broward, deputies say

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – A driver who crashed on Friday night in Broward County was shot, according to deputies.

The single-vehicle crash was at about 7 p.m., near the intersection of Northwest Ninth Avenue and 43rd Street in Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel responded and found the driver had suffered several injuries, according to Gerdy St. Louis, a spokeswoman for BSO.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
