BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Boca Raton Police Department is mourning the loss of an officer who died of cancer.
According to a post on social media, Officer Lauren Kresse, 44, passed on Thursday afternoon surrounded by her family.
Lauren was a 20-year veteran of the Boca Raton Police Department and a beloved instructor in the Boca Raton Police Training Unit.
Lauren was also a long-serving member of the Boca Raton Police Honor Guard.
