Loved ones hold memorial for woman killed in Lauderhill shooting

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Family and friends left a touching memorial on 22-year-old Regina Vidal’s car on Sunday morning.

Vidal was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Lauderhill.

It was a somber memorial at Newport Condo at Lauderhill, located along the 2000 block of Northwest 46th Avenue.

According to Lauderhill police, it was just before 6 a.m. Saturday when officers responded to reports of a shooting.

Police said Vidal was shot and killed inside the building.

Officers have not provided information regarding any suspects or persons of interest but said they are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
