Thief uses high-tech tool to swipe Supra in seconds

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – A masked bandit stole a man’s prized Toyota Supra in just seconds, apparently thanks to a high-tech tool.

Luis Suarez shared this surveillance video of the theft on Monday morning from his home near the Country Club of Miami.

The thief was dropped off outside Suarez home, and he went straight for the white Supra that was parked in the driveway.

The hot rod was locked, but Suarez thinks the bandit used some sort of relay device to access the car’s key fob which was inside the house.

The stolen Supra sells for nearly $60,000.

Neighbors told Suarez that they saw the thieves earlier that night casing the neighborhood in a new white Mercedes Benz GLS-450.

If you know anything about this crime, call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
