FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A firefighter was injured while working during a house fire on Saturday in Fort Lauderdale’s Lauderdale Manors neighborhood.
The firefighter was part of the Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue teams that responded to the fire near the intersection of Northwest 19 Avenue and 15 Street.
Fire rescue personnel took their colleague who suffered minor injuries to Broward Health Medical Center.
Two people were displaced from the house after the fire. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
