MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. ā€“ A 41-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting at a business in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.

The shooting was reported around 8:50 a.m. that morning at the Presi Stop 24 Hrs corner store, located at 9203 NW 22nd Ave.

According to the suspectā€™s arrest report, the victim, Patrick Zamor, 48, was inside the store speaking with people when Myron Hawkins entered the business, pulled out a gun and shot Zamor once in the head.

A motive for the shooting remains unknown.

As of Thursday morning, Hawkins was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
