BSO dive team searching for man last seen near Broward park

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – A dive team with the Broward Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who they say was last seen near a park in Broward County Tuesday morning.

According to a BSO spokesperson, deputies received a missing person’s report about a man who was believed to be in the area of Easterlin Park, located at 1000 NW 38th St., in Oakland Park, around 8:15 a.m.

Sky 10 flew over the scene around 1 p.m. where divers were searching for the man inside a lake at the park. Deputies later confirmed that the man’s was unfound inside the lake as their search continued.

Deputies have not released any information on the man’s age or identity.
