MIRAMAR, Fla. — A driver was killed by another vehicle while changing a tire on the shoulder of northbound Interstate 75 just north of Miramar Parkway Thursday afternoon, according to troopers.

Troopers and the Traffic Homicide Investigation unit are on scene investigating the crash.

A 2-year-old child was inside the vehicle of the driver who was hit. The child was turned over to the mother at the scene, and next of kin notification was completed.

The right three lanes of northbound I-75 are blocked while investigators work at the scene.
