Body pulled from submerged vehicle in Parkland

PARKLAND, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a crash that resulted in divers pulling a body from a submerged vehicle in Parkland on Monday.

According to Coral Springs Fire Rescue officials, the vehicle went into a canal in the 10900 block of Northwest 78th Place.

Officials said CSFR divers went into the water and found a body inside the vehicle.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office was also at the scene.

Officials eventually removed the vehicle from the water late Monday afternoon.

Police said it was a single-vehicle crash. No other details were immediately released.
