BSO detectives search for missing 25-year-old woman with mental illness

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Wednesday in finding a 25-year-old woman who they say was last seen in Oakland Park.

According to detectives, Zion Coleman was last seen around 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, in the 5700 block of North Dixie Highway.

According to her family, Coleman is living with a mental illness.

Investigators said Coleman is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs around 250 pounds.

She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and grey leggings and carrying a white and pink tote bag with pink handles. She also has facial tattoos, according to detectives.
