Broward deputies: 13-year-old girl found after she vanished for over 5 days

DANIA BEACH, Fla. — Deputies had been searching for a 13-year-old girl for over five days when they asked the public for help on Saturday in Broward County.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Leah Jones vanished on Monday morning in Dania Beach.

By Sunday morning, detectives reported they had found Leah on Saturday evening and she was “safe and unharmed” with her family in Dania Beach.
