Fort Lauderdale police find evidence of shooting, 2 victims arrive at hospital

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a possible shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting along the 600 block of Broward Boulevard at approximately 4:05 a.m.

While police said that officers found evidence that a shooting had occurred, they did not locate any victims.

Not long after that, two men arrived at Broward Health Medical Center with injuries that were described as consistent with being shot.

An investigation is ongoing into whether the two incidents are related, police said.
