BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — First responders rushed to a home in North Lauderdale on Sunday after receiving a report of a woman who was drowning.

Authorities said when paramedics arrived to the home on Southwest 67th Avenue and 15th Street, they found an unresponsive woman who had been found in a nearby pool and quickly took her to a nearby hospital.

Officials have not provided an update on that woman’s health status.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, authorities said.
