MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for a young boy from Miami Gardens.
According to authorities, 9-year-old Liam Smith was removed from his “school transportation” by his mother, who does not have custody of him.
Police said 45-year-old Tameeka Budwah was last seen driving a 2000 four-door Honda Civic with Florida tag RJVL88.
Authorities describe Smith as 4-feet tall, weighing 65 pounds. He has black dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing his school uniform -- a light blue shirt and dark blue pants.
Anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts is urged to call Miami Gardens police at 305-474-6473 or the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at 1-888-356-4774.
