DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a baby girl, which occurred Tuesday morning.
According to BSO, someone called 911 to report that the infant was not breathing.
Deputies and a Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crew then responded to a home near the 200 block of Northeast 40th Court in Deerfield Beach where they found the baby.
BSFR transported the baby to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A Local 10 News crew was at the scene later in the morning as a medical examiner’s car was parked outside the home, along with a BSO vehicle.
The baby’s cause of death remains unknown.
No other details were immediately released.
