Salt Lake City news outlets report that Menard and another man, William Taylor Glines, 37, of Texas City, Texas, communicated with Alisa Petrov, who was last seen April 21 after running away from home.

Court documents state that Menard engaged in sexually explicit conversations with Petrov, of South Jordan, Utah, knowing that she was 15, and talked about meeting her in Las Vegas and “hir(ing) a hooker” to engage in sex acts with both of them.

Multiple news outlets report that Petrov was last seen getting off a train in Provo, Utah and asking where Las Vegas was.

Court documents state that a judge ordered Menard, who “has no connection to Utah,” be held without bond.

Petrov remains missing and endangered, authorities say.
