ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld Orlando announced the new “Summer Spectacular,” a drone show integrated into the theme park’s fireworks, is set to begin on Saturday night.
The park’s spokesperson described the aerial display over the park’s lake Thursday as “a sky-dancing celebration of the sea” with “hundreds of synchronized drones that create vibrant waves, glowing sea creatures and dynamic light formations.”

Animal rights organizations such as the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have been actively campaigning against SeaWorld for years arguing that marine mammals suffer in captivity.
