HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A woman was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert Friday night after suffering burn injuries in Hollywood, authorities confirmed.
Hollywood Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to a call reporting a burn injury and found a woman with visible injuries.
They said she was alert and breathing when paramedics transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not said how the woman was injured. The cause of the burns remains under investigation.
Her age and condition has not yet been released as of Saturday morning.
