HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. — Police officers are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in Hallandale Beach.
Officers said they responded to the 200 block of Southwest 10th Avenue around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, police said they found two people who had been shot, including a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other victim, a woman, had been shot multiple times and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition, according to authorities.
Police said the shooting appears to be domestic-related, and there is no threat to the community.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting remains ongoing.
