HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Police officers are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in Hallandale Beach.
Officers said they responded to the 200 block of Southwest 10th Avenue around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, police said they found two people who had been shot, one of which, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other victim, a woman, had been shot multiple times and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition, according to authorities.
Police said the shooting appears to be domestic, and there is no threat to the community.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting remains ongoing.
