It happened along the 3700 block of Percival Avenue at approximately 4:42 p.m. on March 19.

Police revealed on Saturday that they actually arrested Montrell Boykins last month.

According to authorities, Boykins grabbed drugs from the victim who was selling them, and then shot that dealer as he attempted to snatch back the drugs.

Boykins appeared in bond court Saturday afternoon to face a second-degree murder charge.

The judge ordered him held without bond.
