“I didn’t see anything, just a bunch of cops coming by and ending up in a house where I know the people,” one neighbor, Luis Lopez, said. “No comment about that. I have no idea what happened.”
Witnesses say it all began around 7 a.m. along Curtiss Drive near Sultan Avenue.
Members from several different law enforcement agencies arrived outside a home, including the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Miami Gardens Police Department.
Local 10 cameras captured uniformed officers as well as a few undercover agents going in and out of the house while also speaking to several people who were gathered outside.
Officials so far have not released much information about the raid, other than saying they were there to serve a warrant.
What that warrant was for and whether anyone was taken into custody is still unclear.
