Corrections moves teen accused of 3 bomb threats to Miami-Dade adult detention

DORAL, Fla. — A 17-year-old boy accused of making three bomb threats affecting a school and a police department was in jail with adults on Thursday in Miami-Dade County, records show.

Miami-Dade correctional deputies booked Jayden Bullard, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds, on Wednesday afternoon at the Metrowest Detention Center, near Doral, inmate records showed.

Jayden, who turns 18 in about a week, had been at a Florida Department of Juvenile Justice facility near Allapattah when Miami-Dade prosecutors requested the extradition, records showed.

Miami-Dade prosecutors filed a case against Jayden on three counts of false reports of a bomb over the alleged threats in December.

The threats impacted Hialeah Senior High School, on Dec. 2, at 251 E 47 St., and the Hialeah Gardens Police Department, at 10301 NW 87 Ave., on Dec. 2 and Dec. 4, records show.
