HIALEAH, Fla. — South Florida knows good food and to prove it, a beloved sandwich shop in Hialeah has earned the top spot on Yelp’s Top 100 Sandwich Shops in the U.S. of 2025.
In honor of National Sandwich Month in August, the site has narrowed down the country’s favorite spots for sandwiches.
Franky’s Deli Warehouse in Hialeah earned the number one spot.
The restaurant, at 2596 W 84th St., has been serving diners since 1999. Its owners Franky and Nanette have been married for nearly 40 years and have operated the business since then.
According to Yelp, it helped narrow the top 100 list based on guests’ opinions, which can include a house-made aioli, chutneys, pâtés, and sauces chefs add to their sandwich creations. Diners also give high praise to unique, delicious toppings like pickled vegetables and olive tapenade, as well as the artisanal breads like fresh ciabatta, garlic bread, or pretzel buns.
