A member of the Services Employees International Union 32BJ, a New York City-based labor union that represents airport workers, held up a “Triangle, we need a contract now” sign calling out on her employer, Triangle Aviation Services.

Andrew Lang, a lead SEIU 32BJ organizer, said the demonstration is also to make a stand against immigrant-bashing rhetoric and to celebrate the labor of “working immigrants in this country.”

Airline catering workers with United Here Local 355, and transportation workers with the South Florida American Federation of Labor - Congress of Industrial Organizations also participated.
