MARGATE, Fla — A man was hospitalized Wednesday morning after part of a large tree he was cutting fell on him, fire officials confirmed.
The incident happened around 10:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Northwest 67th Avenue, according to Margate Fire Rescue.
MFR officials said the man, who they believe was a friend of the homeowner, was transported to the trauma center at Broward Health North.
Authorities have not released his identity or condition at this time.
