MIRAMAR, Fla. — We have a Mom to Mom update to share about Iman’s Light Foundation and their upcoming fundraiser.
In June, Local 10’s Nicole Perez sat down with Mari Rodriguez. Rodriguez’s daughter Iman was 18 years old when she died from fentanyl poisoning. She said she suffered from migraines and her daughter took a Percocet pill.
Rodriguez created Iman’s Light Foundation to educate children, youth, adults and communities on the dangers of fentanyl and other deadly drugs.
Iman’s Light Foundation is holding a fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m. at the Miramar City Center Hall at 2400 Civic Center.
Tickets for adults cost $45 and tickets for students are $25. To purchase tickets, click on this link.
