Jail records show Angelina Chenel Esty is facing one count each of burglary of an occupied dwelling and second-degree grand theft between $20,000-$100,000.

The incident occurred Aug. 9 at an apartment at 950 Brickell Bay Drive.

Miami police said Esty and another accomplice met the victim at a downtown bar and were invited back to his apartment.

Once inside, they said the women allegedly drugged the victim and stole his Rolex, about $4,000 in cash, and a friend’s replica Rolex valued at $1,000. The victim’s friend also suffered an “unauthorized $500 Cash App transaction,” according to the report.

Police said surveillance video from the bar captured the suspects’ faces, and the victim identified Esty in a photo lineup, leading to her arrest. Authorities noted she has prior arrests for similar “bad date” thefts.

Esty had previously been linked to a May incident at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel, where she allegedly drugged a man and stole his $20,000 Rolex Datejust and a $10,000 diamond bracelet, according to investigators.

Authorities said surveillance video and fingerprint evidence tied her to that case.

As of Thursday, Esty was being held on a $5,000 bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
