DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — A Deerfield Beach woman is facing charges after allegedly sending threatening messages to a woman who was dating her ex-boyfriend.
Deputies were initially called regarding the actions of 34-year-old Ayannah Bennett on July 30.
Investigators said they went through several threatening messages that were sent to the victim from multiple phone numbers between July 9 and July 31, and were able to determine the messages came from Bennet.
Among the profanity-laced messages, one stated, “B---- ima beat yo ass nd if yo kids with u im beating them the f--- up too!!”
Bennett is facing charges of aggravated stalking and unlawful use of two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
She was granted a bond of $51,000, but at last check, she remained behind bars at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach.
