Lauderhill man shot in dispute over money

LAUDERHILL, Fla. — A man was shot Saturday night following a dispute over money, according to Lauderhill Police.

Officers responded around 9:48 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert near 4051 NW 19th Street. Shortly after, a man called police to report he had been shot.

The victim was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and told officers he had argued with a known individual before being shot. He was taken to a local hospital by Lauderhill Fire Rescue.

The suspect remains at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lauderhill Police at 954-497-4700 or Broward Crime Stoppers.
