MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A traffic incident occurred on Wednesday evening when a person was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot.

Around 8:43 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to a crash at a parking lot on 28875 S. Dixie Highway.

Fire rescue found a woman trapped under a vehicle and was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene. The incident is under investigation.
