Disabled senior reported missing in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Gardens Police Department asked for the public’s help Thursday in locating an 88-year-old disabled man who they said has been missing since Monday.

Investigators said Winston Irvin Perkins was last seen around 9 a.m. in the area of Northwest 176th Street and Northwest 29th Court. They said he was traveling on foot and may be lost.

Authorities said Perkins is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and a full gray beard.

At the time he was last seen, police said Perkins was wearing a black and gold button-down shirt, stone-washed blue jean shorts and black sneakers.
