MIAMI — Jungle Island looks a little different this time of year.
From mid-September through Halloween, the Miami landmark becomes The HorrorLand — 18 acres of fear packed with monsters, clowns and vampires lurking in every corner.
More than 250 creatures take over the grounds, with five original haunted houses and several outdoor scare zones. The park’s crew spends weeks building the elaborate sets, then tears them all down once Halloween ends.
Watch the video above to see how The HorrorLand has grown into one of South Florida’s biggest Halloween attractions — and one of its scariest.
